• No front. However it lands on the desk, it's readable.

• Works either-handed. Left or right, the message faces out.

• It's readable from across the table, which is where most of these get read anyway.

What's printed on the mug? The phrase "You Pay For What You Don't Know," and nothing else. No artwork or logo. It's printed twice — once on each side of the handle — so it reads the same whichever way the mug is turned.

What does the phrase mean? That not knowing has a price, and you're paying it whether or not you notice. Unread terms, forgotten renewals, fees at the bottom of the page, the clause that mattered. It's not advice. It's an observation you'll recognize.
