It's a joke. It's also uncomfortably close to how this actually works.
The line on the bottom is for you
The front is the statement. The bottom edge is the punchline, positioned where only the person holding the phone reads it — turning it over, picking it up, glancing down.
That's deliberate. The joke is about a private asset, so half of it stays private.

The case itself
Dual-layer construction — a hard polycarbonate outer shell for impact, over a soft thermoplastic polyurethane inner liner that absorbs shock. That's the combination that actually survives a drop: rigid outside to spread the force, flexible inside to soak it up. Single-layer cases do one or the other.

Care — two things worth knowing
Keep it away from high-alcohol liquids. Hand sanitizer, alcohol wipes, and some cleaning sprays can lift the print over time. Use a damp cloth instead.
Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight. UV yellows polycarbonate — true of the material generally, not this case specifically. A hot dashboard is the usual culprit.

What's the joke? "Case" three ways — a legal case, a phone case, and having a case as in an argument that stands up. Your face is the one asset you never registered, and the line on the bottom points out what that means if anyone ever uses it.
Can you actually copyright your face? Not straightforwardly — that's part of what makes it funny. Copyright generally covers creative works rather than a person's appearance. What does exist is the right of publicity, which protects commercial use of your name and likeness, and it varies quite a bit by state. Which is roughly the point: the protection is patchier than most people assume.
Where's the second line? Along the bottom edge of the case. You read it when you pick the phone up, not when you're holding it out.

The warning is required regardless of exposure level, so its presence doesn't indicate how much of anything is present. We publish it because we'd rather you have the information.
Will it yellow? Prolonged direct sunlight will yellow polycarbonate — a property of the material, not this case specifically. Keep it off a hot dashboard and it'll stay clear.
